UnrankedSmurfs IS NOT affiliated, sponsored, endorsed, or associated with League of Legends or Riot Games, Inc.

The result, released just recently on the iTunes app store, allows League of Legends players to quickly check up on the strengths and skills of one of those 100+ champion characters. Seven new Pentakill icons are also available for 250 RP each: Pentakill Kayle Icon, Pentakill II icon, Pentakill Karthus Icon, Pentakill Olaf icon, Pentakill Yorick icon, Pentakill Sona icon, and the Pentakill Mordekaiser icon.

And to crank it up a notch, Mordekaiser, Sona, Karthus, Olaf, and Yorick are taking the stage with new splash art, in-game models, and an all new summoner icon. A green smoke suddenly formed and popped Karthus, the lead singer of the rock band. You can read more about the band and that album here , covering them was actually one of the very first articles that I ever wrote for Metal Insider.

Factor in the eye-popping visuals and explosive violence of League of Legends - witness the Mortal Reminder video for evidence - and Pentakill could hardly be more fitting (or preposterous) standard bearers for the love-in between gaming and metal fans, blurring the lines between so-called real music and digital fantasy in a way that no acts have managed before.

The Pentakill skin line that turns some of League of Legends' most hardcore champions into badass metal rockstars was the first mention of the band. Original story 21 July, 2017: League of Legends is a lot of things: videogame , esport , anime It's also a music powerhouse, producing tracks across a wide range of genres to back videos, login screens, and more.

This ranking is based on the lifetime Pentakills done in ranked games. Pentakill Mordekaiser, Sona, and Olaf are more metal than ever. Sona S L , and while the other members of the band split to the far corners of Runeterra in despair, she was consumed with the desire to craft soaring, symphonic rock operas.

An in-game heavy metal band from the massively popular multi-player online video game League of Legends, Pentakill operates somewhere between the opulent, fantasy-driven power metal of Dragonforce and the gimmicky, yet cleverly constructed inside metal of Dethklok.

In addition to this tight timeframe, we also had to get on the same page with the Riot Games music department, with the actual musicians who made the tracks, with the graphic designers who created the band members, and with the marketing team responsible for promoting the game and the album.

You can download their full album free from Riot, and enjoy hit head-banging tracks like Ohmwrecker”, Deathfire Grasp”, and Last Whisper” for as long as your blown, metalloid minds can handle. It's the image when you just get the pentakill in the League of Legends game but will be your face in the middle.

Entirely under the mainstream radar, the band's new CGI video, Mortal Reminder, notched up more than 3m views in less than 48 hours after its release - and the new album, Grasp of the Undying, seems destined to be a huge success. The original in-game band is composed of Mordekaiser, Karthus, Olaf, Sona, and Yorick.

After the disastrous popular end to their last live performance, where Mordekaiser destroyed the entirety of the Freljordian crowd, Karthus gave the fateful order for Olaf to drum the Worldsplitter Rhythm” that sundered the land and brought down the icy realm's highest peak upon Mordekaiser.
